Materials & Cultural Meaning

ROUGH BLACK DIAMOND

Dark and opaque, rough black diamond reveals its character through surface texture. Uneven contours and small reflective points give it a different presence from a polished, faceted diamond. Its beauty becomes visible in the details: an edge, a change in texture, a brief flash of light.

NATURAL TURQUOISE

Turquoise carries blue and green within the same stone, often crossed by darker veins of surrounding rock known as matrix. These markings trace through the material in patterns that vary from bead to bead.

Its appeal lies in that combination of colour and natural detail. Each stone holds a pattern of its own.

A MATERIAL WITH HISTORY

Turquoise has been treasured for thousands of years. Ancient Egyptian rulers wore it in jewellery, and cultures from Persia to Mesoamerica gave it a place in their ornaments and ceremonial objects. Its blue-green colour has drawn people to it across different places and generations.

MEANING, MADE PERSONAL

For L&X, rough black diamond represents resolve, while turquoise brings a sense of calm and connection. Together, they offer a personal reminder to stay steady while remaining open to the world around you.

S925 sterling silver completes the piece. Natural variations in colour, shape and texture give every bracelet its own character.
The Design Behind This Piece

The design centres on Six rough black diamond accents: one at the centre, with four spaced along each side. Their placement gives the bracelet a clear rhythm, with small turquoise beads connecting each section.
We arrange the turquoise by colour, shape and proportion, allowing the strand to feel balanced while preserving the differences between individual beads. The blue-green tones soften the darker accents, giving both materials room to stand out.
The proportions are deliberately slender: 3–4 mm turquoise paired with 4–5 mm black diamond accents. A polished S925 sterling silver hook clasp follows the line of the bracelet and completes the design.

L&X bracelets are assembled and hand-finished by our workshop team in Yangshuo, China. Designers develop each piece, while trained makers handle assembly, finishing and individual inspection before dispatch.
Will natural stones look exactly like the photos?

Natural stones can vary slightly in color, pattern and texture, so every bracelet has its own character. The materials, bead size and overall design will remain consistent with the product description.
How do I choose the right bracelet size?

Measure your wrist snugly where you normally wear your bracelet. Our size options refer to your wrist measurement, not the bracelet’s finished length. Choose your measured size for a closer fit or 1–2cm larger for a looser fit.
What if my bracelet does not fit?


Complimentary size adjustment is available for eligible bracelets. The adjustment itself is free, while the customer covers the shipping costs to and from L&X. Please contact us before sending your bracelet back.
How long will my order take to arrive?

Each bracelet requires 1–3 business days for preparation and is normally dispatched within 3–5 business days of the order date, including preparation time. Delivery after dispatch usually takes an estimated 3–7 business days, depending on the destination, carrier and customs clearance.
How much does shipping cost?

We provide complimentary tracked shipping to the destinations we serve, with no minimum purchase required. Any customs duties, import taxes or brokerage fees that may apply are the recipient’s responsibility.
How is my payment protected?

Payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout using the payment methods displayed at checkout. L&X does not directly collect or store your complete payment-card details.
What is your return and exchange policy?

You may request an eligible return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order, including if you change your mind or select the wrong size. Items must meet our return conditions, and customers cover return and replacement shipping for change-of-mind or sizing requests. Please contact us before returning anything to China.
