Choose your measured wrist size for a closer fit. Add 1–2 cm for a more relaxed fit.

Example: For a 16 cm wrist, choose 16 cm for a closer fit or 17–18 cm for a more relaxed fit.

Volcanic origins give it depth. Light reveals its silver sheen. Silver Sheen Obsidian Moon Beads bring the strength of the earth and the stillness of a lunar landscape to your wrist.

The Stone

Black sheen obsidian is a natural volcanic glass formed when lava cools rapidly. Microscopic inclusions reflect light, revealing a soft silver glow against its dark body. As the viewing angle changes, so do its shades and depth.

Carved indentations create the distinctive lunar surface of each moon bead. Natural sheen meets sculpted texture, giving every bead its own character.

History

Long before metals became part of everyday life, people shaped obsidian into sharp tools and polished it into dark, reflective mirrors.

In ancient Mesoamerica, obsidian mirrors also held ceremonial significance. Their deep, reflective surfaces inspired a sense of mystery, giving this volcanic material a place in both daily life and spiritual tradition.

Belief

Some cultures of ancient Mexico used obsidian mirrors for divination, believing they offered a connection to gods and ancestors.

Inspired by this tradition of looking inward, we give our Silver Sheen Obsidian Moon Beads a meaning of clarity, resolve, and protection. Worn close, they serve as a quiet reminder: stay grounded through change, and remain true to yourself.

Natural silver sheen varies from bead to bead. Lunar textures are created through carving. Subtle differences in tone, sheen, and texture give each piece its individual character.
The Design Behind This Piece

This design brings together two expressions of obsidian: the softly textured surface of moon-carved beads and the polished finish of a small black skull. The contrast gives the bracelet its character while keeping the palette restrained.

The 8mm round beads create a defined, balanced presence. Measuring 8×10mm, the skull follows the line of the strand, threaded from crown to base rather than suspended as a charm. Slim S925 silver spacers frame it, while rope-textured end beads and a compact 5×20mm antiqued double-hook clasp complete the bracelet.

Wear it alone to show the carved details, or beside a watch for a subtle contrast of stone and silver.

Italian-born founder Lynn opened the first L&X workshop in Yangshuo in 2002, bringing together natural materials, thoughtful design and influences gathered through years of travel.

L&X bracelets are assembled and hand-finished by our workshop team in Yangshuo, China. Designers develop each piece, while trained makers handle assembly, finishing and individual inspection before dispatch.
Will natural stones look exactly like the photos?

Natural stones can vary slightly in color, pattern and texture, so every bracelet has its own character. The materials, bead size and overall design will remain consistent with the product description.
How do I choose the right bracelet size?

Measure your wrist snugly where you normally wear your bracelet. Our size options refer to your wrist measurement, not the bracelet’s finished length. Choose your measured size for a closer fit or 1–2cm larger for a looser fit.
What if my bracelet does not fit?


Complimentary size adjustment is available for eligible bracelets. The adjustment itself is free, while the customer covers the shipping costs to and from L&X. Please contact us before sending your bracelet back.
How long will my order take to arrive?

Each bracelet requires 1–3 business days for preparation and is normally dispatched within 3–5 business days of the order date, including preparation time. Delivery after dispatch usually takes an estimated 3–7 business days, depending on the destination, carrier and customs clearance.
How much does shipping cost?

We provide complimentary tracked shipping to the destinations we serve, with no minimum purchase required. Any customs duties, import taxes or brokerage fees that may apply are the recipient’s responsibility.
How is my payment protected?

Payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout using the payment methods displayed at checkout. L&X does not directly collect or store your complete payment-card details.
What is your return and exchange policy?

You may request an eligible return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order, including if you change your mind or select the wrong size. Items must meet our return conditions, and customers cover return and replacement shipping for change-of-mind or sizing requests. Please contact us before returning anything to China.
What if my order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect?
