Treasured for thousands of years, nephrite jade has a beauty that reveals itself slowly. Its soft lustre and rich green tones bring an understated presence to the wrist—a quiet expression of strength, balance, and individuality.

The Stone

Nephrite is one of the two gemstones recognised as jade. Its densely interwoven mineral fibres give it exceptional toughness, while polishing reveals the smooth feel and gentle, almost waxy lustre for which it is valued.

Natural variations in green, subtle clouding, and mineral inclusions give each bead its own depth and character. Its appeal lies in these details, discovered through light, touch, and everyday wear.

History

Nephrite has been shaped into tools, ornaments, and ceremonial objects since prehistoric times. Its toughness made it useful; its beauty gave it lasting significance.

Across generations, jade became a treasured possession, offered as a meaningful gift and passed down through families. Carefully carved and worn close, it carried both personal memories and cultural ideals.

The Design Behind This Piece

This design begins with the differences within the jade. Green and deeper green beads are arranged to create a balanced rhythm, with fine hematite discs giving each rounded form a clear outline.

At the centre, two small faceted obsidian beads frame a sterling silver cube and its silver spacers. The change from smooth jade to crisp facets and flat silver surfaces gives the bracelet definition without adding bulk.

The 5MM profile keeps the piece slender on the wrist. A simple sterling silver lobster clasp completes the design for everyday wear, alone or beside a watch.

Italian-born founder Lynn opened the first L&X workshop in Yangshuo in 2002, bringing together natural materials, thoughtful design and influences gathered through years of travel.

Two Greens, One Palette

Green and deeper green jade create a gentle change of tone along the bracelet. Their softly polished surfaces keep the colour composed, while the dark spacers define each rounded bead.

Natural Depth in the Jade

Look beneath the polished surface and the beads reveal subtle clouding and differences in translucency. Some appear more opaque than others; these variations in tone and internal texture mean your bracelet will have its own details rather than match every bead in the photographs.

A Change of Shape at the Centre

The silver cube introduces flat surfaces into a strand of round 5MM jade beads. A small faceted obsidian bead on either side links that geometric centre to the softer jade, while fine hematite discs keep the rest of the arrangement clearly defined.

Attention from Strand to Clasp

The bracelet is assembled and inspected by hand in Yangshuo, with bead spacing and the central arrangement checked together. The silver lobster clasp and its connections are also checked before packing.

Will natural stones look exactly like the photos?

Natural stones can vary slightly in color, pattern and texture, so every bracelet has its own character. The materials, bead size and overall design will remain consistent with the product description.
How do I choose the right bracelet size?

Measure your wrist snugly where you normally wear your bracelet. Our size options refer to your wrist measurement, not the bracelet’s finished length. Choose your measured size for a closer fit or 1–2cm larger for a looser fit.
What if my bracelet does not fit?


Complimentary size adjustment is available for eligible bracelets. The adjustment itself is free, while the customer covers the shipping costs to and from L&X. Please contact us before sending your bracelet back.
How long will my order take to arrive?

Each bracelet requires 1–3 business days for preparation and is normally dispatched within 3–5 business days of the order date, including preparation time. Delivery after dispatch usually takes an estimated 3–7 business days, depending on the destination, carrier and customs clearance.
How much does shipping cost?

We provide complimentary tracked shipping to the destinations we serve, with no minimum purchase required. Any customs duties, import taxes or brokerage fees that may apply are the recipient’s responsibility.
How is my payment protected?

Payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout using the payment methods displayed at checkout. L&X does not directly collect or store your complete payment-card details.
What is your return and exchange policy?

You may request an eligible return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order, including if you change your mind or select the wrong size. Items must meet our return conditions, and customers cover return and replacement shipping for change-of-mind or sizing requests. Please contact us before returning anything to China.
What if my order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect?
