This set brings together several different material and cultural histories. Obsidian is volcanic glass used by humans for thousands of years. Tiger eye is quartz-based and known for its shifting band of light. Pixiu belongs to Chinese mythic tradition and is widely associated in popular culture with prosperity and guardianship. The Heart Sutra is a foundational Mahayana Buddhist text that has circulated across East Asia for centuries.

We present these symbols as cultural references people may choose to carry personally—not as guarantees of wealth, protection or spiritual outcomes.

We did not want this set to feel like two versions of the same bracelet.

One piece is built around the darker, quieter character of obsidian. The other introduces tiger eye, bringing warm movement and a different visual energy. Pixiu links the pair culturally, while the Heart Sutra-carved obsidian adds a second layer of Chinese Buddhist symbolism.

The set works because the bracelets relate without matching exactly. Together they feel connected; separately, each still has a reason to exist.

Italian-born founder Lynn opened the first L&X workshop in Yangshuo in 2002, bringing together natural materials, thoughtful design and influences gathered through years of travel.

Simple, not tacky.

Some “wealth” bracelets look cheap with big gold charms. This one is understated – black obsidian, small Pixiu, no fake gold plating. I wear it to work under long sleeves. Nobody notices it’s a lucky bracelet unless I tell them. That’s exactly what I wanted.

L&X bracelets are assembled and hand-finished by our workshop team in Yangshuo, China. Designers develop each piece, while trained makers handle assembly, finishing and individual inspection before dispatch.

Natural stones can vary slightly in color, pattern and texture, so every bracelet has its own character. The materials, bead size and overall design will remain consistent with the product description.

Measure your wrist snugly where you normally wear your bracelet. Our size options refer to your wrist measurement, not the bracelet’s finished length. Choose your measured size for a closer fit or 1–2cm larger for a looser fit.

Complimentary size adjustment is available for eligible bracelets. The adjustment itself is free, while the customer covers the shipping costs to and from L&X. Please contact us before sending your bracelet back.

Each bracelet requires 1–3 business days for preparation and is normally dispatched within 3–5 business days of the order date, including preparation time. Delivery after dispatch usually takes an estimated 3–7 business days, depending on the destination, carrier and customs clearance.

We provide complimentary tracked shipping to the destinations we serve, with no minimum purchase required. Any customs duties, import taxes or brokerage fees that may apply are the recipient’s responsibility.

Payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout using the payment methods displayed at checkout. L&X does not directly collect or store your complete payment-card details.

You may request an eligible return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order, including if you change your mind or select the wrong size.
