The Design Behind This Piece

This bracelet is built around contrast without excess. Luminous mother-of-pearl rectangular beads bring a soft, shifting surface, while polished black obsidian adds depth and visual weight.

We chose an 11×8MM mother-of-pearl format to give the bracelet a clear geometric rhythm rather than the softer look of conventional round beads. Between these larger forms, 6MM obsidian beads create spacing and balance, while restrained S925 silver accents sharpen the transitions without overpowering the natural materials.

The S925 infinity clasp completes the piece with a more sculptural finish and gives the back of the bracelet the same level of design attention as the front.

The result is clean, modern and composed: a black-and-white bracelet designed for everyday wear, easy watch pairing and quiet visual contrast.

Natural Mother-of-Pearl

Mother-of-pearl is valued for its layered structure and soft iridescent luster. Its surface shifts subtly with the light, and natural differences in tone and pattern make each bead visually individual.

Black Obsidian

Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass known for its deep black color and polished surface. It has a long history in tools, ornament and decorative objects across cultures. In this bracelet, its visual role is to create depth and contrast against the luminous mother-of-pearl.

S925 Sterling Silver

Polished S925 sterling silver is used as a restrained structural accent through spacer details and the infinity clasp. The cool metallic finish sharpens the transitions between white and black while keeping the bracelet clean and balanced.

Italian-born founder Lynn opened the first L&X workshop in Yangshuo in 2002, bringing together natural materials, thoughtful design and influences gathered through years of travel.

Today, L&X designers work alongside locally recruited makers to assemble and finish each piece with the same focus on proportion, material and everyday wear.

Our size options refer to your wrist measurement, not the bracelet’s finished length.
Choose your measured wrist size for a close fit. If you prefer a looser fit, select a size 1–2 cm larger.

Example: For a 16 cm wrist, choose 16 cm for a close fit or 17–18 cm for a looser fit.

We provide complimentary tracked shipping to the destinations we serve, with no minimum purchase required. Any customs duties, import taxes or brokerage fees that may apply are the recipient’s responsibility.

Payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout using the payment methods displayed at checkout. L&X does not directly collect or store your complete payment-card details.

You may request an eligible return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order, including if you change your mind or select the wrong size. Items must meet our return conditions, and customers cover return and replacement shipping for change-of-mind or sizing requests. Please contact us before returning anything to China.
